Objectives of the Energy Foundation
- To educate consumers through publicity campaigns, educational programmes and seminars about the rights and responsibilities of consumers, the benefits of reducing energy waste, and assist residential, commercial and industrial consumers in improving energy efficiency
- To advocate for policies that address customer service issues and promote national policies for the sustainable development of energy and the adoption of energy saving technologies
- To strengthen the private sector, to improve economic productivity by developing and implementing energy efficiency, renewable energy and productive uses of electricity programmes and businesses
- To undertake other energy related market research and development activities for itself and on behalf of other entities
